In a scene that brought together the spiritual, national, and diplomatic dimensions, H.E. the Supreme Executive President of the Council of Ambassadors of the World in the European Union, Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Khalil Al-Majzoub, attended the Holy Mass presided over by His Beatitude and Eminence Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi at the Patriarchal See in Diman, on the occasion of the Thirteenth Sunday of Pentecost and the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, amid the historic occasion associated with the beatification of the Venerable Patriarch Estephan Douaihy.
The Mass, which was broadcast live by the media, featured a special welcome from His Beatitude Patriarch Al-Rahi to Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Al-Majzoub, who addressed him with a greeting before the congregation, while also welcoming all attendees and the diplomatic and parliamentary figures participating in the occasion. The scene reflected the importance of national and diplomatic presence alongside the Maronite spiritual leadership.
Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Al-Majzoub attended the Mass at the head of a delegation of his advisers and assistants, accompanied by his Legal Adviser, Attorney Rami Fares, and his Adviser for Prison Affairs, Ms. Suzanne Cheiban, alongside diplomatic and parliamentary figures, foremost among them the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland accredited to Lebanon and the Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Parliament.
The Council of Ambassadors of the World in the European Union affirms that diplomatic presence at such occasions is not limited to protocol, but also constitutes an important platform for communication, dialogue, and the exchange of views on ways to support Lebanon, consolidate stability, and strengthen its relations with its Arab surroundings and the international community.
